If you are interested in our IB program, please review the documents below. The first document is the student application for entrance into the program. Also included in the application are the teacher reference forms that should be completed by the student's current teachers. The application should be returned to Kristine Guha, IB Coordinator. It can be mailed, sent via e-mail or through using inter-office school mail (ask your counselor!).

We feel that students and parents should become familiar with the expectations of our International Baccalaureate program. Open communication between our school and our RHS Pre-IB and IB families is very important to us. Each year, students and parents or guardians sign a Commitment Agreement and an Honor Code Commitment. Our teachers, coordinator and counselors work to support students in meeting the standards outlined in these documents. Our guidance counselor will provide a copy of the documents to our students to be signed during sophomore through senior year.

Alumni "Quotes"
Some Alumni Quotes are below--Other Quotes from RHS-IB Alumni and RHS-IB Parents are found on our Alumni Page.
"IB provides students with many opportunities to expand their minds, explore their interests, and encourage their dedication. However, the IB program also has invaluable characteristics that can sometimes escape the eyes of zealous parents and eager students on the quest for the academic program, like the dedicated teachers and the group of students that will soon become as close as family. Yet these smaller details are what have made the Ridgeview IB Program take up a bigger place in my heart."~~~Hana Cummings, Class of 2013
"The work ethic that I acquired because of IB has helped me excel in college as well as in life in general." Brianna Williams~~~C/O 2012
"With the IB program you have the opportunity to prove your abilities, create strong bonds with classmates, and learn to open your mind to new ideas and views."~~~Noah Davis, C/O 2014
"Through my two years in RHS-Pre-IB alone, I have reached goals I previously considered impossible. I have grown to be a better person and have learned many skills that have turned on a blinding light in my future. I took the road less traveled and it definitely worked to my advantage." ~~~Alyssa Michel, Class of 2015
"The teachers I had in the IB program at Ridgeview truly made it worth all the hard work and time I spent in the program. Their dedication and passion for teaching inspired me to succeed and helped me to realize how much I love learning."~~~Laura Yadon, Class of 2011
The best thing about IB is a feeling of belonging - we are a family - everyone has everyone else's back! After that is the incredible education I have received - it is hard work, but it's worth it. Working with our amazing teachers and really "getting it" has made my work at Ridgeview both challenging and rewarding. I feel more than prepared to enter college this fall - it will make the transition to university level academics much easier. Thank you to my wonderful teachers, Mrs. Greenawalt, and especially my fabulous IB cohorts! You guys rock - I couldn't have done it without you!
Sarah Granger, Class of 2013.
